Time delayed blog post
Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to get concrete5 to wait for a period of time before allowing the public to view a blog post. Ideally I'd like to have a few in a queue that will get published every day or so.
My available time to author posts varies wildly from week to week. With a time-delay mechanism I would be able to provide a more consistent update schedule for my visitors.
Any help is appreciated- maybe I've just missed something.
Thanks!

I *think* if you enable advanced permissions (http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/general-topics/simple-permis... ), you can do this. But this may be overkill for you. You might try checking out some of the blog addons available in the marketplace to see if they have this feature.
Thanks for the reply! Advanced Permissions is decent work-around for what I want to accomplish. While it doesn't appear to let me defer publishing automatically, it will let me write my articles when I have time and then manually make them 'visible' at periodic invervals.
I am in need of this as well. Should be a simple thing. Anybody know how to do this?
