TinyMCE - Color picker problem

Hi,
I am using C5 5.4.2 and the 'office' version of tinymce menu. Sometimes when i try and change a colour of a font and click on the colour chooser icon it just won't give me the palette option? Other times this works OK? I have tested this in Chrome, Ie8 and Firefox..
Anyone got any ideas on what this is and how to go about fixing it?
