tinyMCE not working jquery throwing error

I'm having a problem with the base content block. jQuery is throwing this error:
uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x805e000a [nsIXMLHttpRequest.open]" nsresult: "0x805e000a (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame ::http://www.mydomain.dev/concrete/js/tiny_mce_309/tiny_mce.js... :: anonymous :: line 1" data: no]
and the textarea's not being updated with the editor. Anyone have any ideas? where i should look to fix this?
