Translations

I did a search and what I found were older posts. How hard will it be to translate a site to multiple languages? I have never done this before and I have a client who has a project that requires it.

AFAIK, the only solution suggested was to create a separate page tree for each language.
This might work for most sites, but not sure if this supports eCommerce.

the ability to specify more than one path to a page combined with domain mapper or mod_rewite and a second page tree is a way how this can be solved.

This might be really interesting article for a howto...
