Tree node selector in single page

Hi,
could I get a display a topic tree node selector (behaves like checkboxes), see here attached, in a a single page ?
Getting a tree by id or name, having a method who display this html selector, and retreive its value by post or get, and having its value selected even if page refreshes.
I know I can build it manually but would be a waste of time.
