Trouble selecting "image set" when adding Flex Slider block on page.

I am very new to Concrete 5 and would really appreciate some help with an issue that is driving me crazy. I am trying to add a Block to a Slider content section on my home page. I select the Block called "Flex Slider" and a dialog box has some settings to pick. The most essential setting is that I need to select an "Image Set" - however, no image sets display in the selection drop-down, despite me having defined image sets that exist, and when I go to the "Open File Manager" I can't find any way to actually select/associate the set that I want. So I am stuck and can't move forward with adding the block, because I can't associate an image set. Any ideas? I swear I am not crazy - I have been hunting all over that file manager for any buttons or selection options to pick/confirm the selected set to associate with my Flex Slider block.

Attached are 2 screenshots - one that shows the dialog box and shows the empty selection box where I am required to select my desired image set (only option is "Loading...") which should show my sets to pick from. The second screenshot shows a list of my image sets within the file manager, to prove I do indeed have some defined sets!

I can't find that Flex Slider in the marketplace so it might be an old version that's not compatible with newer versions of concrete5.

You can't associate files FROM the File Manager TO the Flexslider. You are supposed to be able to just choose the file set you want from the Flexslider dialog. I wish I had a solution to your issue.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond! Sounds logical - that is probably the problem, so I guess I'll have to find a different solution with a different add-on that is compatible.

There are lots of sliders available. Just go to the add-on section of the concrete5.org site and type 'Slider' into the search and you'll have a plethora of choices. They range from a basic one built by the concrete5 team all the way up very fancy ones with all kinds of options. I often just use the Blueberry slider because it's responsive and styling is pretty neutral but there are lots to experiment with. Have fun!
