i've recently added the discussions forum add on, and have have done a bit of reskinning and preparing for it to go live.
i have just been adding some topic pages and posting a test discussion on each to make sure everything is working ok - but on some of the discussion pages, when i add a new discussion post (by clicking on 'start discussion' and then typing a post using the pop up window) nothing happens... there is just the discussion block on the page with 'There are no topics in this discussion' in it... i have tried over and over... logged out, logged back in (the area is only visible to me as admin at the moment), restarted firefox and still no joy... this won't do if it's going to happen to users of the forum - major error if you can't make a post! it has worked on some of my pages - which makes it even weirder.
any ideas what might be happening??
