Turning existing site to concrete Theme
Permalink
Hi,
I am totally new to concrete5. First of all, my apologizy for my noob questions.
I built my own website athttp://www.mduque.com and am familiar with some php and very confortable with html and css. I am more of a web designer than developer, but always happy to explore and learn more.
Having already built my site, is it possible to integrate concrete with my website?
Where should I look for a total beginner? What is the concrete architecture?
Would it be better to start from scratch and rebuild my site in concrete?
Appreciated and thank you.

Strip back your theme to it's empty containers and then make it compatible for C5. There's a great tutorial for this here:http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/developers/pages/themes/...
After you have created your theme in C5, you can then think about adding your content through the CMS and rebuilding your site to the state that it is in now.
Hope this helps.
