Unable to Connect to Database - was working fine then this!

Here is the error I am getting:

Unable to connect to database.
A database error occurred while processing this request.
Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to ConfigStore::__construct() must be an instance of Database, null given, called in /hermes/bosweb/web263/b2636/nf.mainideas/public_html/BPH/concrete/models/config.php on line 48 and defined in /hermes/bosweb/web263/b2636/nf.mainideas/public_html/BPH/concrete/models/config.php on line 136

I've been searching the forums for hours looking for an answer and nothing is working. Does anyone know how to overcome this error and reconnect?
I can open my database via phpmyadmin and view information.
I have repeatedly checked my site.php settings and all looks fine.
This is not a new installation. It was working fine until my client called to say that it was not working.
My host says it looks like a connection configuration problem. That's my guess. ;-)
Any body know how I can go about reconnecting to my site?

Hi i am getting the exact same message. did you ever find a solution?
I can't seem to find complete notes on this topic. I did get it resolved, but I can't remember all the details. The best help I can give you is this link to information I used to resolve my problem.
