Unicode BOM appearing in front of DOCTYPE

Hi,
I have a problem with some UNICODE BOM in front of the DOCTYPE tag. No matter what I do or how many times I take the code to Notepad++ and remove the BOM and save in unicode without BOM it still keeps appearing in the beginning of my code when uploaded onto server. This doesn't bother in other browsers than IE since they just seem to overlook it. So my question is: Does Concrete5 somehow add this BOM in the top of the code? And this BOM only appears on single pages, not on the main page.
