You can do that by editing the defaults for a page type. From your dashboard go to Pages and Themes, and then choose the Page Types tab. Then click on defaults next to the page type you want to add the slideshow in, and add it to the page. This will set it up for all future pages.

After you have added your slideshow block, click on the slideshow and then choose 'Set up on child pages' and check the boxes next to the pages you want to retroactively add the block to. Keep in mind I'm not sure what position in the Area it adds the block. My assumption would be that it will add it to the bottom.
