Updating blocks on a server you don't have control of
Permalink
I'm working on a development where I don't have my usual degree of access to the server.
A Package I'm building for C5 which is bespoke will need to be upgraded every so often as development continues but I can't be certain I'll be able to upload the zip to the machine.
I was wondering if there's a 'Private Extension' capability in the marketplace or similar that allows the updated package to be automatically installed in the normal manner but prevent it being available to the world at large if, say, it were made unavailable on the C5 marketplace but could still assign licenses to it for the webserver installation. It wouldn't be for sale so wouldn't need to go through the PRB, I literally just need a mechanism to update the server with upgraded packages as development goes on.
Hope this makes sense!
