Uploaded images' directory

My hosting server had a 'major hardware failure' about a week ago. I have restored my site manually and the host was able to restore my database. However, even though the database has all of my images' filenames stored, the place where those images were stored on my server is now missing my images.
Anyone know what directory the image uploader stores images into? Is it just the images folder in the root?

I believe its the /files folder and all the sub folder contain the images. you will need to make sure all the image are still in the correct subfolders under /files. you cant just dump them into the /files folder.
Great, thanks! I suspected that was the folder. So my next question is, are file sets defined in C5 a sub directory in the files folder?
sets should be in the db only
