URL-structure Magento with Concrete5

Hi,
Let's say Magento is combined with C5, where C5 is used for the content en Magento for the shop. Magento should be installed somewhere but is it really necessary for the URL-structure to change?
Our URL-structure (just a Magento 1 shop) is now likehttp://www.webshop.com/product-a for instance. But with combining Magento with C5, this URL would becomewww.www.webshop.com/shop/product-a... to show the shop. That doesn't work out well for our SEO ratings throughout the website.
I've heard people say that Magento can be loaded without being visible in the URL. Is that correct?
