Hi There,

I've just discovered Navicat - I previously used phpMyAdmin to import/export entire databases.

I was wondering if people use Navicat to sync and cherry pic database changes?

e.g.
- Updating a site with new features on a DEV server
- Allow a client could to continue updating their site on the LIVE server
- Cherry pic client's content updates and sync to DEV before pushing LIVE or
- Sync database changes from a c5 update to the LIVE server, keeping content unchanged

Or is it just way simpler to:
- Put a content freeze on the LIVE site
- Export/import LIVE database into DEV environment
- Perform/test the updates
- Export entire database and files back to LIVE environment
- Lift content freeze

What do other people do?
