User edit permissions
Permalink
I've been trying to find how a user can actually get to edit a page they have been granted permission to edit.
Have a subtree of the navigation /blog and have created group 'blogmaster' and allowed blogmaster to edit /blog (and, I guess the pages beneath it via inheritance?), added the user to the group. All well and good.
How, though does the user GET to edit the page? Is there something I should include in the template to check the permissions and display and 'Edit' link of some sort? Found nothing so far searching docs or forums or code!
Cheers

if they go to the page, the edit bar should show if they have edit permissions
That's exactly what I expected, given how C5 behaves very 'rationally'.
The bar appears for admin but not for the user with permissions. I'll review the settings I made in case I made a boob. Not allowed user-edits before so tricky to tell if I messed up or it's something else!

Just tried again.
I must have been having a complete mental lapse earlier as now it works exactly as expected.
Please forgive my brainless twaddling!

However, uploading a new image into their new article seems Verboten.
Having a hunt for the solution in the forums but any shortcut tips to the solution welcome!

Found the solution!
Once again another cool and 'correctly' implemented feature in C5!
(For anyone else reading the solution is in File Manager and click the 'Access' tab, LOTS of permissions)

Thank you! I was having the same problem and had posted a query earlier. It sure does throw up a nasty message that makes you think your php files are missing! Just go to File Manager, Access, add the group, voila.
