User (not admin) change page order in sitemap/autonav

Hi I am having real trouble getting the above to work and hope someone can help.

In admin mode I can drag and drop the page order ok (crossed arrows), I have created a user account with permissions to access the sitemap so that when the enduser creates pages/menu items they can also change the displayed order.

Example, the site currently has 5 pages and 5 menu items with 'Contact Us' as the last page, the end user creates a new subpage from 'Home' and this adds a new page at the bottom of the autonav, the enduser still wants to keep 'Contact Us' as the final page and move the newly created page further up the tree.

The only option I have found is to select the copy/move from the page I want to move, but this then only allows you to....

You dragged "Page C" onto "Page A." What do you wish to do?

Move "Page C" beneath "Page A"
Save old page path

Alias "Page C" beneath "Page A" - Pages appear in both locations; all edits to originals will be reflected in their alias.

Copy "Page C" beneath "Page A"
Your copy operation will only affect the current page - not any children.

None of these options are what I need, I need it to display the same as when in admin mode where I am able to drag and drop the page into the order required.

Any ideas anyone, as this is something I will need to give the enduser the ability to do without giving full admin permissions.

Thanks in advance

Pete
