Using c5 as a plugin for mybb?

Is it possible to create a cms plugin of (C5) and use it for MyBB? What I would like to do is basically keep C5 for portal system, content articles / blog and custom pages. Mybb users and permissions would take the place of c5 permissions. (if that makes sense).
