I'm using the is_featured attribute to try and arrange news items across a "Recent News' page and a "News Archive" page. This would ideally be achieved by using a 'featured' page as a trigger to show the news item on the recent news page and a 'non featured' page on the archive.

The featured page attribute is working great only i'm finding that news items that are not set as featured are pulling through into the non featured page list. I've checked the correct checkboxes within the Page List setup panes but i'm stumped trying to find a way to ONLY show featured pages on the Recent News page and ONLY show NON featured pages on the archive page?

Is there anything i can do to try and rectify this within the block itself or would it be best to approach this in a different way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
