Using Login system outside of Concrete5

Hi All,
I'm building a new site for my skydiving club. I will have one public part which is utilizing Concrete5 and also a member section which is completely standalone. However, I would like to use the login/users system of C5 on the member pages. Anyone have any idea of how to do that?
