I'm looking for some advice relating to the eCommerce add on by the Concrete5 team. I've used this add on on a small scale before and I have been impressed with the features it provides and the flexibility in terms of customisation, I am now looking to use this add on again on a new website for a potential client but first I was wondering whether the Concrete5 system could handle (without greatly affecting the speed of the website) a larger inventory of products, say anything up 10,000 products? (this amount is the top, top end of the scale and likely won't be reached for a few years or if ever but its a realistic amount to consider to ensure there won't be a need to change system in the future)

Any help in answering this question is greatly appreciated.
