Volume Discount on E-commerce

I have a client that would like to provide a discount based on volume. For example, when a customer orders more than $75 of merchandise, I want to set the e-commerce up to provide a 10% discount. There does not appear to be a straight forward way to do this. Thank you to anyone that may have suggestions how to accomplish this.
