Watermarked images not removed after uninstalling the add-on

I had been using the Watermark add-on herehttps://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/watermarknn...
but I'm removing it from now, and the issue is that after uninstalling the add-on, the watermarked images were not removed from the application/files folder. So basically removing the add-on is the same as keeping it, we still have the files on our server.
I tried contacting the add-on developer but they haven't respond for over a month now.
Is there a solution to such problem?

I haven't used it for a very long time but isn't there an option in the package to remove the watermarked images? If yes maybe you should do that before uninstalling it
Hi mnakalay, I just tried your suggestion, it removed the watermark from the images but the watermarked images weren't removed from the application/files folder
ok. I had a look through the code and it seems it has backup files inside application/files/watermark_n_n which you probably can remove.
As for the watermarked files in the normal files folders, those are the same that would be created by C5 when recanning images, except with watermarks. So technically for those files, if you just remove the watermark with the package or rescan the images through C5 file manager, there should be no left-overs.
