Website stutters on ipad and iphone
Permalink
Hi all
I have created the following website using concrete5:
http://www.teamstickman.co.uk
I am currently trying to optimize the site as it is incredibly slow and I am receiving complaints from my client. The main area for complaint is to do with using the site on iphones and ipads.
The site seems to stutter and sliding about using finger scrolling seems to be a chore.
can anyone help or advise me on what to do to resolve this issue as I'm at a loss.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Hi Rony
Thanks for the response.
When you say here, could you be more specific please as i'm a little confused.
The website is working but for some reason the link on this thread tries to stay within concrete! If you copy and paste it's fine.

hi Kevcorn,
ronyDdeveloper was likely trying to point you in the directions of a tool like:
http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/d08Yp7/teamstickman.co.uk...
so you can address some of the loading issues.
I've had a look through the cascade and I'm guessing you must be on a VPS as it looks like you are using mod_pagespeed (for some things).
I'd check the system was not constrained in any way - you have a pretty long time to first byte there but even after that you seem to have some very slow connection times pulling the resources.
Are you using APC?
What are your traffic levels like?
What is the resource utilisation like?
You will get an extra bit of latency with the website hosted in California for visitors in the UK - of course that might not matter if most of your visitors are US based.

BTW the site is not opening right now.
