What about Page Type and how does that effect the Theme?

When converting an html template to work within C5 ... does anything have to be done with the page type function?

I'm not quite sure if I understand what you mean.

Typically separate php files are written for the various "Page Types" in a theme(full.php, view.php, left_sidebar.php etc) and those traditionally include a elements/header.php file and an elements/footer.php file.

You could get the page type inside one of those files, but i'm not sure what you would need that for.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe the problem I've having, in my example, is that I'm missing the appropriate page type php file? Would those page type php files have been included in a Theme that is downloaded and installed from the marketplace?
