I'm working on a site that will search for specialty shops. Search results will be like the C5 marketplace, showing brief info and stars/reviews. Clicking a search result will bring you to the shop page which contains more info, a map, and ability for reviews. I have lots of questions about how to best create this.

Can I use a "like, don't like" feature like UrbanSpoon.com instead of stars?

I would like drop down menu's to search by state/city. Also a zip search.

It looks like marketplace is a good start to what I'm looking for but I've gone through so many blocks I need advice to narrow my choices to the right ones. Ideas?
