Glad to hear your excited to get 5.6.1 up and running.

We're working hard to finalize some things before pushing out to automatic updates, so hopefully it should be up soon. We want to make sure it's extra tested before it goes out automatically. Don't worry, it will definitely be worth the wait.

Best Wishes,
Mike

Will that mean it'll be version 5.6.1.1?

In other words, will sites that have been already manually updated to 5.6.1 be able to be updated, or is it bugs just with the automatic update process?

Cheers

Hi Ryan,
Oh jeez, I'm getting myself in trouble already. ;) Yes, you will be just fine upgrading from 5.6.1. There won't be any issues with that. Now I should keep quiet before I start making promises I can't keep.

Best Wishes,
Mike

Tried clearing the cache?

I'd turn the cache off completely to see if that's the issue.

What I would do for as a temporary fix is hardcode in your theme's stylesheets.
(if you haven't used any of the theme editing, like colours, fonts, etc)

In my themes, I normally just use something like;
<link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo $this->getThemePath() . '/main.css';?>">
     <link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo $this->getThemePath() . '/typography.css';?>">
