Where to start learning Concrete5 Add-on Development?

Does anyone know a good place to start learning the back-end of Concrete5, to start developing add-ons, etc?
In association with the documentation and howtos....
Use the designer content block and see what it does.
There are a couple of starter package addons that illustrate nearly everything else you need to know.
