White page in edit mode and in dashboard

Hello,
I have had C5 5.4.1 on my server. Everything worked well, but one day Concrete started misbehaving:
- when I'm in Edit mode, if I click on a block and choose "Edit", "Design" or "Custom template" from the menu, the Edit window appears for a second or two (depends on the connection I guess), then the whole page goes white. I tried it in Chrome, Safari and Firefox - same result. In the Chrome error console I get the following:
extensions/miscellaneous_bindings.js:159Port error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist.
chrome-extension://gofhjkjmkpinhpoiabjplobcaignabnl/content.js:369
TypeError
.
- in Dashboard, whenever a pop-up window has to appear (if I click the "next" arrow in the news, if choose "edit", "properties" etc. while in the Sitemap, if I try to view or edit a file in the File Manager) the page goes white and I get the same error message as in the previous example.

I suppose this is something wrong with the JavaSript, but as I don't know JS much, I don't know where to look and what to do.
Since this weird behavior appeared, I have upgraded - first to 5.4.2, then to 5.5, 5.5.1 and 5.5.2. I first did it through C5, then - as it didn't work - replaced manually the concrete folder on my server, per the instructions on this site. No luck again...
Could somebody please tell me what could be going wrong - and how to correct this...?

Thanks in advance,

Mikołaj

Try disabling the flashblock extension (In chrome) as thats where that error is comming from.

Thanks for the answer... but it doesn't work. I have two C5 sites, both with concrete 5.5 - and one gets the white pages I mentioned, while the other works perfectly. And since both use flash, they have the flashBlock disabled by default...

On Chrome, I get the following error when loading the page with the dashboard, as well as any other page on the back end:
Uncaught Error: Too much time spent in unload handler.
getTimeOverride v8/DateExtension:1
gxy_delay cachedscriptxy.js:109

I doubt it has anything to do with my problem, but it's as close to an error as I get...

In Dashboard/System&Settings, if I click on "environment information", I get a blank white page as well, but before it happens, I see for a second the page with the C5 window and this message: "Unable to load environment information". Maybe this can point me to what is wrong...if only I knew what is happening ;-)
Thanks in advance for any help with that...

Hmmm... I noticed it happens everywhere there's a javascript pop-up - With the news pop-up in the Dashboard, for example. Or if I try to make a new page - from the sitemap or from the edit bar on my page. For a split second I see an animation as if the window was opening, then everything goes white... What could've broken the javascript? As I mentioned previously, I have another site on the same server, running the same version of C5 and everything works perfectly there...

Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks in advance for any help,
