Same issue for me - My issue is that I changed the site name but it didn't update on the template.. Too bad b/c it's nice looking and simple theme.. le sigh.

I used this theme for a while on a client site. From what I remember, I had to make all of these changes in the CSS and PHP files. Things were well structured in the code so changes weren't hard, you just couldn't do much from the front end.

Depending on the size of the site, you could also style each block using the design option (a choice in the list when you edit/add a block). You can also save those changes as a custom setting and apply it to blocks one at a time with a couple of clicks.
