My single page is displaying the "innercontent" without the outer wrapper.
In other words, the single page content is displayed, but the view.php shell is not wrapped around it.

I am looking for a checklist of steps to move a concrete installation form one directory to another. E.g. I installed it in http://sitename.com/new but want it to move it to the root directory. Is this a nightmare?
