2 major Problems with Mosaic theme... need help

2 Really Big problems
I currently have one theme (the Enlightenment church template) and have been working towards switching my theme over to the Mosaic theme and when working on it today I came across to major problems.
1. The mosaic Home page didn’t upload correctly, specifically the home slider; instead my home page was displayed like a page theme, with two columns. The slider was there but didn’t have the fancy home design around it.
2. Secondly my quick link CTA buttons did not work, I uploaded them into the Global section under my scrapbook and hyperlinked them to the page I wanted them to go to but all I received was en error message like this onehttp://www.mvfredmond.org/how-to-get-here/...
Any suggestions?, I’m willing to have someone dink around under the hood of my site ‘cause I have to get this fixed. Because it didn’t work turned my theme back over to the old one

I just figured one out in case someone has this problem in the future. Once you activate a new theme, Go to design on the home page and click a different home page setting under the options, because every theme is different and if you’re under the wrong home page setting then certain features wont come up
