5.4 Upgrade Problem
Permalink
I had a failed install of 5.4 (due to an SQL permissions problem).
I subsequently restored a 5.3.3.1 backup made before the failed upgrade.
The SQL permission problem is resolved.
I copied the 5.4 files into my current Concrete directory again.
When I try the upgrade link it says I am already on 5.3.3.1
I suspect the file restore hasn't overwritten something - any ideas anyone?

file restore or DB restore...
Ok, after some trial and error;
If you get a failed 5.4 upgrade - be sure to WIPE the Concrete directory before restoring your backup - assuming you have cPanel - as the resotre function only writes files it has in its repository.
Thus the Concrete upgrade is creating a new file (?) to flag the upgrade. Trying to perform the upgrade again just causes the above error.
I have wiped the Concrete directory, before restoring both the back up and SQL, redoing the upgrade, clearing cache - hey presto it all works :)
Its faster and better looking than before but only used for an hour.... hope this helps others with this problem :)
