500 Error

Hi,

I've installed Concrete5 onto my web server, but when I try accessing the folder it's in I get a 500 server error – newbie question, but does this mean my version of PHP on the server's not new enough to run it?

Or is there a specific installation path I need to point my browser to?

The system requirements page of the Concrete5 website (http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/background/system_requirements) reckons it will run on PHP 5.2 – anyone out there able to point me in the right direction to solve this please?

Thanks in advance!

Dave

To install the software you should go to your domain name where you will be presented with an installation page,
EDIT
If you placed the installation inside a sub folder (example c5) then you would go tohttp://www.yourdomain.com/c5

500 error is usually a server problem, ask your hosts why the error is showing, they can check the log files and either correct it or advice you..
