Add functionality tab coming up with error

Hi - I've just done a fresh install and all seems fine except when I go to the tab in dashboard called Add Functionality it comes up with this error...
An unexpected error occurred.
Invalid task permission.
Any ideas - I've tried clearing the cached - uninstalling the packages via ftp but its still coming up with this error. Any ideas anyone I need to be able to see my packages...
