Add-On Installation - Epic Fail

Can't link an add-on to my site.

When I go into "Account/Transactions" it shows the record of the add-on purchase. When I go into "Projects" it shows my linked Web sites (one Demo site I'm no longer using, and one externally hosted site, where I'm trying to install the add-on).

However, when I go into my site (either one, although it's the hosted site I'm trying to link the add-on to), the add-on does not appear under the list of add-ons under "Add Functionality". I know the installation instructions say you can download the add-on ZIP file and install it in your host directory directly by clicking a download link on the "Account/Licenses" page - but I don't see any such link.

So I can't find it in my list of site add-ons, and I can't find a download link on the Licenses page. What gives?

Thanks.

Have you double checked on your project page for your site to see if you assigned the license to the right project? Once you select the site you're working on... scroll to the bottom of the project page and see if you can add it to your site from the drop-down of licenses you have purchased.
If its attached to the demo site and you want to move it... I believe you can "un-attach" it so its free to use on the other.
(also, once released from a site where you won't be using it, I normally download an archived copy before re-assigning it so I have a desktop copy to modify if needed)

Thanks, but it's attached to the right project. I even tried releasing it and re-attaching it to that project - it's definitely licensed correctly, it's just not accessible.

How do you download the file? I can't find a link that allows that. If I could download it, it would be OK.

I believe the download button option is only visible if the add-on is not assigned. Try removing from project, refresh browser and view your purchased licenses to find the download option. Then reassign to project after archiving. (sorry for slow response, I overlooked your last question)

You asked about the "...the "Account/Licenses" page...". The page you're looking for is, i believe, here:

My Account > Transactions > Licenses

From there you can click the add-on you want to download and then scroll down to the bottom of the resulting page to find a 'download archive' link.

I'd like to be more help but i've been stopped dead in my tracks with the same problem as you, and despite help from the Email List Signup developer (thanks Jordan), I cannot get any marketplace blocks to appear on multiple 'clean' C5 installations.

And I'm having less luck in the forum. I must have upset somebody!

You'll find a few related links on the page below - related but not necessarily relevant.

Maybe you'll have better luck than I.
