Appointing a non-default Port of MySQL on 5.7.2

I installed 5.7.2.1, but port designation of DB came to a deadlock by an error of the SQL for a cause for some reason.
Because ports of each DB on our hosting server are different from default 3306 port ,
In 5.6, we had to appoint it as "hostname: ****".
But when I appointed it in 5.7 equally, there was a error message shown;
SQLSTATE[HY000] [2005] Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql***: * ***' (1)
Then when I input only host name without appointing a port, there was a error message shown;
SQLSTATE[HY000] [2013] Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111
The check of the required item with the screen in front clears it, and optional "ZIP support" only becomes the attention mark.
MySQL is 5.1.
Are there the method to appoint a port number well?
