backup option not working - gives mysql errors

Hi
just went to do a backup on the site before I push the update button. I got this error back:
mysql error: [1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-oxford_co_uk_c5data' at line 1] in EXECUTE("SHOW TABLES FROM focus-oxford_co_uk_c5data")
Something wrong here?
