Blank Dashboard and eaccelerator

Are we still having issue with eaccelerator and a blank dashboard. I just installed 0.9.5.3 and the dashboard is blank. The site is working great though.

hmm bummer, looks like it. Blank dashboard with eaccelerator cache_object enabled in site.php.

Any ideas, or is this a bug in need of squashing ? I'd like to try to sort it out, since I just setup a vps with the intention of having page cache as an additional feature for hosting of client development.

Does the dashboard work if you you remove the special define('CACHE_LIBRARY', 'eaccelerator'); line? If so, I would just remove it and continue on. Since eAccelerator is dropping their cache support we're probably going to go in a different direction anyway.

Thank you for your response andrew. Yes it certainly does. Do you have any ideas on the direction you might take ? I am willing to try out another cache system depending on what needs to be changed to enable it. I know enough php to get into trouble but not enough to save myself :P. I saw a way to use memcache around on the board. Do you have any suggestions for a cache op code ?

..this would be interesting for me too.. we installed eAccelerator on our mashines and it really speeds up C5.. but we got the same problem with the blank dashboard..

..is there any alternative you would recommend..?
