Blank screen after c5 install

Hi everyone - just installed the c5 onto godaddy hosting - When i got the install screen after going to my web address - all looked fine -then i entered my database details (all the ticks to the left were green after chmodding files as requested) - then when the install was underway -it went to a blank white page - what did i do wrong or is this a problem with godaddy?
