Bluehost Redirect Settings

I created a new domain, ilheusapp.com, and added it to my Bluehost account as an "Addon" domain. I also created a subdomain, ilheusapp.alanhalley.com. Then I created a new page, alanhalley.com/ilheusapp. I'd like to redirect ilheusapp.com to alanhalley.com/ilheusapp. Do I redirect the domain name, or the subdomain name? And what should I specify as the path to the new page?

Thanks for any help.

I usually just do a redirect to your sub-domain

depending on how it is set up you might have to be more specific and include the index.php (haven't had to do this yet)

(this isn't for redirecting but it talks about how to use subdomains a little)

I'd like to redirect the add-on domain to a single page in the primary domain.

I've tried redirecting my add-on domain ilheusapp.com to alanhalley.com/ilheusapp/ and to alanhalley.com/ilheusapp.html, both with and without a wildcard, but I'm getting a 404 error with every combination of settings.

Issue resolved by changing the path to the page. The page URL was the same as a sub domain.
