My site settings are "Enabled" and to "Emergency Cache" at 360 minutes. See attachment. Well I was preparing for some load testing with an external IT facility and told them on the phone that I had just added the content that we needed, but that I had to now go clear the cache before they could see it on the live site. Before I even got to the Dashboard they said that they had hit refresh and saw everything that I had just added. This seems like page caching is totally broken! WTF?

Does anybody else have this problem? Next week we expect to have tens of thousands of visitors within just a matter of minutes so this is a major league problem if page caching does not actually work!

(The only extra info I can add is that we have APC enabled on the server, but I don't see how that would be relevant to this situation.)
