Call to a member function

i have downloaded my site from the live server and i run it on my local computer but it is not working and giving a message in the form of fatal error like this ("Fatal error: Call to a member function getCollectionID() on a non-object in /var/www/html/concrete/models/area.php on line 120"). what should i do run it on local computer properly .
make sure all files were copied, download the same version from concrete5.org and just override the /concrete folder
all files are successfully downloaded and i dont know about the version of my site how can i check it and also when i will take a new conceret5 and replace the concerete folder then i will need to intall so can it changes my files
