Can't connect to community

Hi. I'm using Concrete5 to design my website and am having problems connecting to the community. In the "Connect to Community" window I enter my concrete5 account username and password (not my website admin login mind you) and I keep getting "You must login with a username that is an owner or editor of this project" and below it also says "This site needs to be reconnected to the concrete5 community. This typically occurs because the site's base URL has changed."
What am I doing wrong? I've looked at many other threads here but none of them have resolved the issue. Thanks!

First re-connect to the community. A quick way to go about is to go to your dashboard and from this line,,, Extend concrete5 – Install, update or download more themes and add-ons. select more themes or add-ons. This will start the re-connect process which will ask for your c5 username which should solve the ownership issue and of course re-connect you.
