I work in Concrete5 all the time and have had to upgrade many sites but for some reason there is no place that I am able to upgrade this particular site I built for a client running 5.3.3.1. I get the notice "The latest version of Concrete5 is 5.4.2.2. You are running 5.3.3.1. Update Now!" but when I go tohttp://site/index.php/tools/required/upgrade/... I get a notice that says I have the current upgrade of 5.3.3.1 which of course is wrong. I've uploaded 5.4.2.2 in the upgrades folder. What else do I do?
Upgrade from 5.3.3.1 to 5.4.0.5 must be a manual upgrade. YES...Backup DB and files first! I changed my 5.3.3.1 Core Concrete file to "Concreteold" and dragged the uploaded core Concrete file to replace it, then entered http://site/index.php/tools/required/upgrade/... in my browser (replace site with your sites name)to force the upgrade.
After 5.4.0.5 was operating, the following stages can be done from dashboard.
