I'm using the 5.0.0 codebase and firefox 3.0.3

Everything seems to be working great with the install, but when I go in upload a photo or an avatar from the dashboard, it runs complete process, does not error out, but fails to upload the file.

I've set the permissions of the files directory to 777. but still nothing happens.

Other questions I have are:
Where are the logs located? How do I check them?

And how do I rename the site. Right now it's sarasotalaw.com/dev/concrete5.0.0 when everything is done I want it to be sarasotalaw.com and I don't see anywhere in the administration panel to change this.
