chart handler not working

The chart handler in dashboard only shows /index.php/tools/required/dashboard/chart_handler.php
Any hint why it is not showing statistics?

I have this problem, no Statistics chart, as well. My chart went away after a problem I had with multiple domains pointing to the same site.
Interesting I also have two domains pointing to the same site. One is the alias of the other.
More research.
It appears to me, that the CMS has "attached" itself to one of the domains. If I remove alias domain test1.domain.com, test2.domain.com still reports statistics fine, and other functions. On the other hand, If I remove test2.domain.com and have test1.domain.com active, test1.domain.com does not report statistics... as well as a huge set of other problems. I looks like the databasse is corrupted. On re-assigning test2.domain.com site alias, all works fine. Well, sometimes browser refreshes needed.

I followed directions of several threads (in the "Documents - How-to" section of the C5 site) to setup for multi-domains. I also setup a centralized server approach ... to let you know the path I'm working.

I found that login on one of the domains displays the chart, login in with the other domain does NOT display the chart, shows the error.
The domain that displays the chart is determined by the base_url parameter in the /config/site.php file. The domain specified in base_url displays the chart.
Don't know if that is the way it is suppose to work, but that is the way it is working for me.

I also changed the base_url and now the statistics work. The only problem is that this is not what I intended.
I have two domains malermaennchen.de and malermännchen.de running on a Plesk server. This domain on which everything is installed is malermaennchen.de because it also hosts the mail server and the like. the second domain is just an alias, but it should be shown as url.

Not sure I understand, here is my best guess. The Plesk server, the mail server and the C5 CMS were setup with the wrong primary domain. You want to change them all to the malermännchen.de domain.
You were able to change the C5 server to malermännchen.de by changing the base_url. The mail server and the rest is still on the wrong domain.
If I am understanding correctly then, you have "fixed" the C5 part. Now, you need to figure out how to change the domain information on the Plesk server. I'm not familiar with Plesk server particulars. Maybe their forum group can help? My concern is for this type of problem you may have to start over to get everything set correctly with Plesk first and then redo C5. I don't know though, I am not familiar with this part.

No sorry there is slight misunderstanding. The plesk server configures mail and the like and both need to use malermaennchen.de because mail clients do not like umlauts. The CMS however should be accessed over the umlaut page but needs to use the same host therefore I set up an alias domain forwarding everything from malerännchen.de to malermaennchen.de yet keeping the cms under the domain name with umlauts. Maybe this is not a clever sut up, but i try to stay as much as possible with plsek for maintainance reasons.
