Concrete update Error

I have gone into the dashboard to update my version of concrete.
I am Currently Running 5.7.4.2 and the update will be Version: 5.7.5.13. Release Date: December 16, 2016
When I click the Download button I get an error reading "An error occurred while downloading the package."

I also cannot update any of my add ons either. No clue where to start with why this isnt happening or how to get around it so any help welcome!

Hi pyrodigital,

Have you checked your server PHP error log or concrete5 Logs page? I would try downloading the update again, then see if there are any new log entries.
Dashboard > Reports > Logs

A temporary fix is to manually update concrete5. Before updating, make sure to create a full backup of your site (database and files).

Were you able to update concrete5 and your add-ons successfully before? If so, can you think of any changes made since then and now, like modifying any site files, changing server settings, etc.?

If you can't think of any changes that were made since updating stopped working, I would contact your web host support for assistance and see if anything changed on their end.
