Concrete5 and Nginx

Of course I've done all the requisite hours of research and experimentation and I still cannot get the most recent Concrete5 to install on a newly appropriated LEMP stack.

I just end up at 192.168.1.40/index.php/install showing a whole lot of nothing. Is Concrete5 really a delicate little flower or have I, a veteran of 1000's of various server installs, missed something easy?
