Concrete5 on SQL Server

Greetings everyone!
I have been searching around the forums to get an opinion whether concrete5 can be installed on a MS SQL Server database instead of a mysql database.
Though in this post (http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/installation/installing-concrete-5-on-microsoft-sql-server/) it is implied that it can be done, in another thread (http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/installation/concrete5-on-iis-and-microsoft-sql-server-express-possible1/) it is stated that it won't run...
If anyone from the concrete5 team is reading this please answer.
If anyone has a solid opinion I also kindly ask to share it.
Is it SAFE to install concrete5 on SQL Server?
Can it be done? (without rewritting much code?)

I think the answer is "if your life depended on it, and the site never changed, then it would work--maybe".

The issues I see are that there are a great many queries baked into the application, and making sure all those work is no small task.

It would be easy, in theory, to replicate the database and get a static site to work once you worked thorugh getting the app to talk to the database. However, I would expect a great many things would blow up once you started using the CMS.

Thank you for your response! That was the general impression I had too, so after a bit of searching and reading and your clear answer I think the question is answered.
